A PIECE OF JAPAN IN A SOAP

A PIECE OF JAPAN IN A SOAP

For this soap, we've initially teamed up with Izakaya Ooki, a restaurant not too far from our shop on Ankerstrasse, where you can eat just as well as in an izakaya in Tokyo, Osaka, or Fukuoka. Our customers liked it, so did we – adding it to our permanent soap range was a no-brainer. Two ingredients characterize this soap: the Yuzu with its exciting and complex flavour that carries both the sweetness of the mandarin and the acidity of the lime, but adds a tart note on top that is somewhat reminiscent of bergamot is the first one. Distillates from the hinoki tree give it company. In Japan, the wood of this tree is used to build palaces, temples, and shrines. It is said to have a relaxing effect, its oil has a tart, somewhat smoky note, but at the same time, it smells nice and refreshing. Together, both form a subtle scent with character. It is refreshing but complex, smelling exotic without being overbearing – just as you know it from Soeder soaps. Hinoki Yuzu is now available online, at all Soeder Stores, and through our partners. And if the bottle runs empty, don't you worry: more than 100 Soeder Refill Stations are looking forward to your visit.
