What a great addition to our urban fleet: we are now the proud owners of a MONoPOLE e-cargobike specially made for Soeder. This compact cargo bike fits in perfectly with our new factory in Werkstadt Zürich. Firstly, both share the same colour: the bike being the exact same terracotta shade found in our new headquarters. Furthermore, both are devoid of unnecessary frills, designed strictly according to their functions.
The bike is not just a practical vehicle but also a real eye-catcher. It features an extra sturdy double stand for secure parking and charging, a shopper rack equipped with additional straps to safely secure our soap canisters, and a soap dispenser mounted directly on the frame instead of a water bottle, making it ideal for use as a refill bike.
"We not only share a vision with Soeder but also a friendship built on sustainability and quality. Together, we are bringing a breath of fresh air to the city," says MONoPOLE co-founder Nicola Stäubli.
What else do Soeder and MONoPOLE have in common? Well, for one, a commitment to regionalism: MONoPOLE designs the steel frames of its bikes in Switzerland and, unlike many bike manufacturers that produce their bikes in distant locations, MONoPOLE manufactures its bikes nearby in France.
High-quality components ensure a long service life. Even after the e-bike surpasses its operational lifespan, it can still be used as a conventional bike. This aligns with our bottles, designed for maximum reuse cycles. Like Soeder, MONoPOLE also advocates for minimalism: a single product mastering the mobile challenges of everyday urban life.
Incidentally, the bike first demonstrated its suitability at our Refill Days 2024. It will continue to be actively used in supplying Soeder stores or partner stores in Zurich with natural care products in the future. So, stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled!
